In this issue, we’ll talk about Meaning & Purpose—and the hidden belief that’s quietly keeping you out of balance. Most people assume purpose is something you find, when in reality it’s something you build through consistent decisions.

The problem is, the same drive that helped you succeed financially may have disconnected you from what actually makes that success feel meaningful. If you don’t address this, you’ll keep achieving… without feeling fulfilled.

Let’s dive in…but first, here is what else you can expect in this issue…

Transformational Question of the Week

Most people never question the belief driving their pursuit of success.

What if the reason your success doesn’t feel more meaningful… is because it was never designed to?

Invitation to This Week’s Summit

If you want to understand how peak performers create results across every important area of life, it doesn’t happen in isolation—it happens through collaboration.

Most people try to figure this out on their own—and stay stuck in the same patterns.

If you’re not yet a member of The Summiteers Community, we invite you to be our guest at this week’s Peak Performers Summit.

Click the link below, tell us a bit about yourself, and we’ll send you the details on how to attend.

Summiteer of the Week: Paul Hoyt

Paul Hoyt is many months into climbing his third summit. He was an information systems professional (aka computer geek!) for the first 30 years of his career and a business consultant and coach for the past 25 years. Now he is shifting careers again with the Good Power Project, passionately sharing what he has learned in the past 60 years of inner work to help “…good people become stronger, more confident, and more capable people so they can do more good in the world”, and doing everything he can to spark a worldwide ethical renaissance. Why Success Might Feel Different Than You Thought It Would

Most people believe meaning comes after success.

So they focus on building, earning, achieving—assuming that once they “get there,” the feeling will follow.

But here’s what actually happens.

You build a life based on a set of decisions. Those decisions are driven by beliefs. And if those beliefs are centered around external validation—status, income, recognition—then the outcome will reflect that.

You may win… but it won’t feel the way you expected.

This is where The Loop is already working against you.

  • Belief: “Success means achieving more”

  • Action: You prioritize work, push harder, sacrifice other areas

  • Evidence: You make more money, gain recognition

  • Interpretation: “This is working—I need to keep going”

  • Identity: You become “the successful one”

  • Consistent Expression: You keep repeating the same pattern

At no point in that loop is meaning required.

So it never shows up.

The issue isn’t that you don’t have purpose.

It’s that your current system was never designed to produce it.

If you want meaning, the loop has to change.

Start here:

Define what “meaning” actually looks like in your life—not in theory, but in lived experience.

  • How do you want your days to feel?

  • What relationships matter most?

  • What are you building that goes beyond you?

Then make decisions that support that.

Not someday. Now.

Because meaning is not found at the end of the path.

It’s created by how you walk it.

This Week’s Move

Identify one area of your life where you feel successful—but not fulfilled.

Write down:

  • The belief driving your actions in that area

  • The actions it’s producing

  • The result it’s creating

Then ask yourself:
Is this designed to give me meaning—or just results?

This Week’s Podcast

This week’s episode breaks down how one Summiteer used The Loop to shift from chasing external success to creating a life that actually feels meaningful.

You’ll hear how a small change in belief led to completely different decisions—and a very different experience of success.

This Week’s Poll

Before You Go

If you want to see how other peak performers are thinking about this, participate in the poll above.

We’ll send you the results on Wednesday—and break down what it means.

Until Next Time…

Keep building a life that has meaning, purpose and provides you with fulfillment everyday.
